We have a tendency to make our lives more complicated than they need to be. We accumulate unnecessary things or give in to distraction. On Sunday, we’ll hear a message about how to simplify so that we can focus on God’s call to love, justice, and service in our lives. Rev. Zach Kerzee will preach a sermon titled “Seek Simplicity” based on the story of Jesus walking on water (Matthew 14:22-33). Zach currently serves as the pastor of Simple Church, Grafton, a farm to table dinner church in Grafton, Massachusetts. He leads an exciting ministry and delivers a compelling message.
We will also welcome musician Catherine Joy Parke, granddaughter of Avis Parke and member of two Boston-area bands, Boketto the Wolf and The Western Den. Rev. Dr. Dianne Carpenter will lead us on the organ as we sing “Come, Thou Fount of Every Blessing” and “Amazing Grace.”
